We got tired of rooms that almost feel finished.
TheDorms started with one small frustration: every room has that one corner that never quite comes together. Not because it needs more furniture — because it needs the right small thing. A light that changes how the room feels at night. A plant that makes a shelf look intentional instead of empty. A desk detail you'd actually want sitting next to your laptop.
So that's what we do. We look for lighting, plants, and desk pieces that are a little different from what's already on every other shelf, check them properly before we list them, and bring them to you without the markup or the clutter of a big-box decor aisle.
What we believe
Three things guide what ends up in the shop.
Curated, not cluttered
We'd rather list twenty pieces we'd actually put in our own room than two hundred that just fill a catalog. If it doesn't earn its spot, it doesn't make the cut.
Picked for the corner that's still empty
Most decor shops sell you a whole room. We focus on the one detail that finishes it — a lamp with the right glow, a plant that doesn't look plastic, a desk piece that actually gets used.
Shipped with care, start to finish
Every product is checked against real reviews and real photos before it goes up, not just a nice studio shot. Packed carefully, tracked clearly, easy to return if it's not right.
